Description
The Cedar Creek Partnership Project is a collaborative effort between Wapello, Jefferson, and Keokuk SWCDs. The watershed was identified as a statewide priority area in the Nutrient Reduction Strategy (NRS), and demonstrates conservation practices that have been proven to be most effective in reducing Nitrates and Phosphates. Through working alongside producers and their farm goals, conservation practices are chosen that best fits the landowner, the land, and the resource concern.
